I must have bought this book 5 or 6 years ago, and I read and enjoyed it then. Recently, as I rediscover my anarchist roots, Hakim Bey has been pulled from the basement bookshelf for review.

Hakim Bey waxes poetic, but his message is ultimately practical. Often using a local quilting bee as illustration, Bey demonstrates the greatest threat to the authoritarian power-base is immediate (read: un-mediated) experience and action.

"This is a game, not a movement; there are rules of play, but no laws" - Hakim Bey - Unsubscribed , posted 08/02/05
