Valuable Book
Thanks for the info that there's a bolo bolo web site. I wouldn't have thought there'd be one. This little book is one of the most valuable I've read. It showed me a method that would enable people who aren't crazy about community to live in a community with other people who aren't crazy about community. I agree the book is quite practical (and readable). I also agree that such a network of communities isn't likely to spring up any time soon. I think such a network would require a good number of dedicated people and at least a fair amount of land and resources. - Bradley , posted 10/04/07

Utopian Visions, post-modern
I was very excited when I came across the Bolo'bolo website, having read reference to the piece in Hakim Bey's TAZ years ago. I'm still surprised I hadn't read it before. Finding the book was difficult, as it has been out of print for some time. When my copy arrived, I was not disappointed. P.M.'s handling of a fictitious ideal society is smart and practical, if not likely. Definitely a worthwhile read. - Unsubscribed , posted 08/29/05
