While visiting Denver we stopped for breakfast on the way to the zoo. It was terrific and so was the service. We decided we had to return that night to try out their signature New York Sugar Steak, and were glad we went out of our way to do it. It was really wonderful. The steak was tender and flame grilled after being rubbed in a sugar/herb mixture. I had the house salad with a pear vinegrette. Wow! But, be sure to save room for desert! I had an amazing chocolate bread pudding out of the many great offerings. Our trip to Denver will be remembered for years because of Bastien's Restaurant.
